How do I give 3D layers to my pre_keyed footage, so I can rotate them in any direction I like?

      Hey Aidan,

Unfortunately you can’t do any kind of 3D composite work inside iMovie. I wish that you could. Since it’s just a simple editing software, you would have to create these 3D layers in a true 3D compositing software like Apple Motion, Adobe After Effects, Maya, etc. Sorry that I can’t be much help with that. Let me know if you have any other questions.

      Hey Leslie,

      That sounds great.

If you check out the basic slideshow tutorial on this page, it will show you how to start a new project and how to add pictures to your slideshow. I will go ahead though and make a tutorial video strictly about how to start a new project, add video, and pictures to your project. I submit a new tutorial video every Monday and Friday so tomorrow I will have that tutorial video up for you and everybody who comes to the site. I hope that works for you.
